Name: Aaron
Age: 17
How long he smoked: 2 years
Smoking habit: two or three a day

Q: Why did you quit smoking?
A: I didn't want anything to have control over me. I know I can't have control over everything, but I know I have control over my health and smoking.
Q: How did you stop?
A: Meditation.
Q: What was the hardest thing about quitting?
A: Ohh, those cravings. You're sitting in class, and you get that taste in your mouth. Or you're having an argument, and all you can think is "Shut up so I can get to my cigarette."
Q: Did you ever slip up?
A: I almost did. One day, my buddy and I were downtown, just talking about life and stuff. I had one cigarette left on me from when I had quit 3 weeks before. He [my friend] persuaded me not to smoke it.
Q: What is the worst thing about smoking?
A: The control it has over you. I didn't like having the need for something like that.
