SECOND-HAND SMOKE
Cigarettes contain 4,000 chemical compounds. Examples include ammonia,
arsenic, carbon monoxide, DDT, and radioactive chemicals. When a
person lights up and exhales smoke, these compounds are emitted
into the air as particles. These particles, also known as ETS, are
inhaled into the lungs of both smokers and nonsmokers. They also
cause CANCER!
