Secondhand Smoke

INTRODUCTION

Did you know that the average teenage smoker starts smoking between 11 and 12 years of age and becomes a daily smoker before age 18? Teens are starting to smoke earlier and becoming addicted faster than ever. Teens need help in quitting, too, even if they are not sure that they want to quit. An effective smoking cessation program must not only motivate teens to quit, but also help them deal with the challenges of nicotine withdrawal. ASCENT does all that and much more!
